We arrived home from a great trip to Canada two nights ago, only to find that our corn is about 12 feet tall:
And that we had lots of new tomatoes, bringing our total for the season (we're keeping track, since it's our first garden and we want to impress ourselves) to 31:
Wow! That is some tall corn! Even taller than our tomato plants (grown from your seeds) that are now about 7 ft or so. No ripe tomatoes for us yet, but soon!
Wow is right, Tim and Sara! That's a delightful welcome-home surprise. Nate's right, we're eagerly anticipating our ripening tomatoes... did you have any trouble with birds pecking at them? I just noticed today that several of ours have pencil-sized holes, and even gaping bite marks.
