The theorist in me cries out in pain at some of the more harmonically awkward and less contrapuntally inventive sections, but
this is still a pretty cool, cute video on how to write a fugue. (He also has that unfortunate drawing on the board at first, but I can forgive little things.)

OK, Tim. I am keeping up with your blog better these days, and I really enjoyed the "Art of the MTV Fugue" you have here! His talking goes on a bit long, and I can see you wince a time or two, but it is definitely fun.

I felt the same way about that fugue... it was like, "Did you really just put an augmented second in there? And that harmonic progression that just didn't work?"
But, hey, it *is* entertaining. ;-)
