Our gorgeous weather lately has inspired two particularly unique activities: gardening and skiing! The gardening started out when we noticed, once the snow disappeared about a month ago, that our garlic plants were peeking out:
So we ordered this giant pile of mulch, most of which is still sitting eyesore-ily in our driveway:
A visit from Sara's parents meant we had some expert guidance and help in digging up the rows for our nice sunny garden, and converting the sprinklers there to drip irrigation:
So now we just have to wait on all those beautiful little seedlings in our state-of-the-art grow-light setup:
The free childcare offered by Sara's parents also allowed us to take a spectacular morning of skiing, during which we actually started to get our ski legs, and after which (for the first time) we actually felt really excited for our next opportunity (though it probably won't be this year):
