I had a really nice trip to California last weekend for Nate's graduation from Harvey Mudd College. It was fun to see Nate graduate, and especially nice to see the family. I hadn't seen Claire or Nate especially in a long time. Grandma came too, which was really nice--we took the same (long) flight(s).

On Sunday morning, we took a walk through Harvey Mudd's botanical gardens. They were nice, and contained many plants that can take a very dry climate. Here I am posing by Poor Man's Timothy:
